Winter Destination

Kristen and Andrew Hunt traveled to Wilmington, NC for a destination wedding at the Ironclad Brewery, a revitalized historic building located in the downtown area. With them they brought the most beautiful handmade arbor decked with fragrant roses and greenery as well as over 100 friends and family.
The young couple was married by the Groom’s cousin and wrote their own vows making the ceremony very personalized. After they were married, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and craft beers at the bar while the newlyweds set out around downtown for some amazing photos.
Dinner was provided by Middle Of The Island Catering followed by a wedding cake that was nearly too beautiful to eat. Guests roared as the Groom eluded to smashing cake in the Bride’s face. Of course he never did, being the gentleman that he was (and noting the warning signs from her).
Everyone was itching to groove and eagerly flooded the dance floor as soon as Regal Events DJ started up the dance music. They boogied to everything from Carolina Shag Music to 2000’s hip-hop to country music hits. The dance floor stayed packed until the very last song was played. Together they swayed and sang and brought the night to an end to “friends in low places” by Garth Brooks.
Congratulations to the very sweet and down to earth couple, Mr. and Mrs Hunt!
