how much experience do you have?
DJ BZ (Brian Heady, owner) became a dJ when he was 21 and he is now in his early 40's! That is almost 20 years experience in the entertainment industry. He has done everything from Clubs in Las Vegas to pool parties in Miami and finally weddings in Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas. After working for several other Wedding DJ companies locally, He finally began his own Wedding DJ and Events DJ company "Regal Events DJ". He has built an awesome staff over the years to help make your special day one to remember!
What Kind of Music will you play at my wedding or event?
Regal Events DJ has a vast music library and anything that we don't have, we can and will get. Regal Events DJ provides very versatile DJ's that understand every event is different and needs a unique approach. We prefer to work closely with our clients to get an understanding of what kind of music they like so that we can build a killer playlist for their event. Our DJ's are also capable of reading the crowd and improvising if you want to be minimally involved in music choices. We will take requests as well.
Is set up and break down within quoted timeframe or outside of it?
The set up and break down of our equipment is free and is not included in the timeframe quoted for your dj services. It is outside the quoted timeframe at no charge and doesn't take away from any time of paid services
What kind of equipment will you bring to my wedding or event?
Regal Events DJ only uses top of the line equipment brands to ensure reliability and crisp clear sound. We have enough sound to accommodate events and weddings of all sizes. Our lighting is Chauvet and American DJ. Our speakers are Electro Voice. Our DJ's mix live at each and every event. We pride ourselves on having a simple and clean set-up at all events.
Will I get DJ BZ if I book Regal Events DJ?
DJ BZ (Brian Heady) is the owner and operator of Regal Events DJ, All events booked on a certain date first will have DJ BZ as their DJ. If he is already booked for your date and you like our prices and packaging, we can provide a DJ that we have personally screened and are confident can provide the same high level performance as him. In any case we will provide you with the name of your DJ before booking.
In the unlikely case that DJ BZ had an emergency and was unable to make your event, Regal Events DJ is able to send one of our other professional DJ's.
What Kind of Payment do you accept?
We currently accept, cash, personal check, money order, PayPal, Credit And Debit Card Via Square. Payment can be made in person or mailed.
Do you charge extra for travel?
No, any travel is included in your DJ Services Quote.
When will you arrive to set-up at my Wedding Reception or Event?
We will arrive at least two hours before your event to set-up and sound check. If you need us to come earlier or later we can usually accommodate these requests.
Is gratuity included in my Quote?
Gratuity is not included in your quote for your DJ Service. It is customary to tip 10-20% if you are happy with your Wedding DJ. It is greatly appreciated but it is not required.
How do I book Regal Events DJ?
Its simple! Just request a quote, if you are happy with your quote we will send you a contract with all the details, pay your deposit and you are booked! The remaining balance will be due one week prior to your Wedding or Event.
