Vintage Winter Wedding

Writer: Brian HeadyBrian Heady

  1. Laura and Amir Vaziri were married at The Terraces At Sir Tyler on a cool day in February. Dia Mia Design helped the couple to transform the venue into a romantic space with a bohemian vibe. Their wedding arbor was adorned with white florals and greenery with a woven white tapestry hanging behind it. A small potted lemon tree was placed on either side of the aisle and mismatched vintage lanterns created a path to the wedding altar.

Guests got a pleasant surprise as the wedding party danced their way up the aisle to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars played by Regal Events DJ. All seriousness returned when the Bride made her way up the aisle to meet her Groom on the altar. A lovely wedding ceremony commenced and was sealed with a kiss. Guests cheered for the newlyweds as they were pronounced man and wife.

Cocktail hour was held in the outer space where guests enjoyed a very hip and boho bar experience complete with a teepee provided by Relic Vintage Rentals. Using the couples bohemian wedding decor, the wedding reception hall was transformed. Hand woven table runners made by the bride herself were placed beneath greenery that was accented with a yellow lemon here and there. Mismatched vintage water pitchers brought the look together perfectly.

It wasn’t long before guests were enjoying a delicious dinner provided by Irv Catering. Dessert was a simple and delectable white sheet cake decorated with flowers and made by a family friend.

Once the food and formalities were complete it was time to dance!!! Regal Events DJ played the tunes and guests descended on the dance floor with enthusiasm. The Bride decided to surprise the Groom with a cowboy hat and encourage him to dance to “Copperhead Road” with her in front of everyone. It was an inside joke and had everyone in laughter as they joined in.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Vaziri! We wish the very best in your long and happy future together.
