A simple and elegant wooden arbor draped with white fabric served as the wedding altar where Heather and Daniel Cosby were married. The Cape Fear River served as the backdrop and a cool breeze complimented the sunshine that graced Wilmington NC’s brick boardwalk on this February afternoon.
The reception itself was held inside Hotel Ballast where a stunning black and gold design was executed with perfection. The Bridal Party was introduced into the ballroom by Regal Events DJ to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. Their guests cheered and cheered again after the Bride and Groom completed their first dance as newlyweds to Chris Stapleton’s “Millionaire”.
After a delicious lunch buffet was enjoyed by all, the elegant cake that seemed to be frosted with gold was cut by the new Mr. and Mrs. Soon it was time to dance off all that wonderful food! Guests enjoyed all different eras and genres of music and everyone old and young took a spin on the dance floor.
