Finding out that your Wedding Venue can no longer host your event two weeks before your wedding would be a disaster for most people but for Lisa and David Eisenberg it was just a minor setback. They hit the floor running and within days had found and booked the beautiful beachside home “Sea La Vie” in Wrightsville Beach, NC to host their special day.
Amy with Do Me A Favor Weddings swooped in and helped save the day creating a picturesque backyard wedding complete with an arbor adorned with greenery and rose petals leading up to the altar.
The last minute venue change and recent hurricane caused the newlyweds to lose some of their guest list but the ones who really mattered found their way. Friends and family witnessed the beautiful wedding ceremony and enjoyed small plates from A Thyme Savor Catering afterwards. A delicious chocolate Wedding Cake decorated with purple iris flowers was cut by the Bride and Groom to the song “sugar” by Maroon 5 and served for dessert.
When the dancing began the Groom was lifted in a chair as guests circled around holding hands during a traditional hora dance. Their photographer, Matt McGraw captured it all! Everyone had a good laugh and guests began letting lose and strutting their stuff on the dance floor throughout the rest of the night.
The evening was brought to a close by their guests waving sparklers in the night sky as the newlyweds kissed beneath them. Congratulations to Lisa and David Eisenberg, May you never let anything stand in the way of your love!
